Choking their suffering along with the gentle waves washing them ashore…It is this agonizing moment of our progress in science yet a social regress that my collection encapsulates. The destruction of marine life reflective in the deconstructive mix of linens and delicate Japanese lace. Contemporizing indigenous techniques like tie and dye, to create androgynous silhouettes, as we move towards a more gender-neutral world.
